Sitting on the waters’ edge of Greenlaw Cove in a peaceful, serene setting, this delightful, well-kept and immaculate camp exudes old Maine charm. With a gabled ceiling, pine interior, sunroom and open floor plan, this cozy cottage, perfect for two, has a spacious interior feel. The deck running along the front overlooks the cove and offers a lovely vantage point for watching the seabirds and occasional seal and otter. Besides a queen bed there is a futon for overnight guests. Rent a canoe or kayak and explore the pretty and protected area at mid to high tide. Saturday to Saturday rentals ONLY please!

WOW!!! Loved our 8 day stay at the Sea Green Cottage. The cottage had absolutely everything we needed, it felt just like home. Gorgeous location with the added bonus of being able to launch our kayaks from the cabin. We spent 3 days kayaking, 2 days walking the trails and 2 days in Acadia. We’ll be back.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Sea Green Cottage. The home is beautifully maintained, incredibly well equipped, and offers every comfort you could ask for including a very cozy bed. Mike, our host, was quick to respond to any questions and made us feel truly welcome and we even joked that we wished he were our neighbor! He knows the area inside and out and was a terrific resource. The cottage is private and peaceful, with the added bonus of watching seals from the sun porch and enjoying the beautiful birds that frequent the area. It was the perfect base camp for exploring Deer Isle and Stonington. We especially enjoyed dining at Finn and Fern and Crybabies in Stonington and both were excellent. The Barred Island trail was a standout…stunning, unspoiled, and deeply peaceful. There are so many scenic trails to discover throughout the area. Deer Isle is a special place, and Sea Green Cottage is the perfect spot to soak it all in. Highly recommended!

My week at this little cottage was beyond my expectations! The owner was wonderful. The cottage had everything i needed. The views from the deck were amazing. I could just sit there, bird watch and observe the tide going in and going out.

Amazing Week at the Sea Green Cabin

We had an amazing week at the Sea Green cabin and are already wanting to go back next year! We brought kayaks and were able to launch right into the cove. We saw fish, birds, and seals! My husband got a clamming license and was able to dig for clams at low tide. We were also able to bring our dog, which was ideal, as he is truly a member of our family. He probably had even more fun than us, if that’s possible! It was awesome to have not only the deck, but also a screened in porch, as it did rain a few of our days there. Can’t wait to visit again!

If you’re looking for a quiet, tranquil, natural setting for some rest and relaxation – Sea Green will fit the bill. The owner’s have thought of everything! The cottage is well-appointed with plenty of towels and a fully operational kitchen (including hand mixer, good sharp knives and plenty of plates, etc). You will enjoy the cove where you will see eagle, seal, osprey throughout the day. There is a rock under a tree that offers spectacular views of the sunrise over the cove; spread a blanket over the rock and you have a perch from early in the morning to just about noon-time protected by the tree and then again for watching the sunset. Stonington and Blue Hill are a short drive away with restaurants, coffee shop and shopping. The Island Heritage Trust has many wonderful hikes that are well-marked that offer you both more views of the ocean or deep forest depending on your interests. The views from the porch are mesmerizing especially when the osprey and seal are feeding. The sunrise/sunset were lovely. There is also a wonderful gas grill (completely with one side burner and all the necessary utensils). We spent two weeks at the cottage and they were magical! Highly recommend.

The cabin was charming and private. We went for the week and it was great. We rented kayaks from Downeast and had a good time kayaking around the cove. The owner check in on us to make sure everything was going well which was nice! The property is dog friendly too!

We had a terrific time on deer isle. The cabin had everything you could want for a very delightful stay. The view was spectacular. We loved sitting on the deck watching the water and the sunrise, digging for clams , and relaxing by the wood burning stove in the evenings. This was the perfect cabin and location for a relaxing get away.

We had a beautiful three night stay over Columbus Day weekend. The camp is quaint in a private and romantic setting on a cove. We brought kayaks and launched within feet from the front porch. We had wireless service, cable, heat, and laundry. The house has character and was built skillfully. We would highly recommend this spot and will be back!
