Set on quiet Cape Rosier, Pearl Cottage is a simple two-bedroom retreat with forest views and a short walk to the shore. With its spacious deck, wood-burning outdoor fireplace, and easy access to local trails and small towns, it’s a great spot to unwind and explore the quieter side of coastal Maine.

Please note that from the last week in June through August, in general and for most properties, there is a 7 – night minimum stay from either Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday. Please call us for assistance or for special requests and we will be happy to accommodate whenever possible.

The first floor has a bedroom, full bath and laundry with a well-equipped kitchen, while the master suite and bath are located on the second floor. The west-facing expansive deck with a large outdoor fireplace is a beautiful spot to enjoy the glistening waters of Penobscot Bay peeking through the tall pines.

If you want to enjoy the stunning beauty and quiet charm of Downeast Maine without the large crowds, this is your place to relax and rejuvenate.

For those who love the outdoors, explore nearby Holbrook Island Sanctuary and other locations to hike and kayak. Acadia National Park is about an hour away and makes for a great day trip. Food lovers will relish fine dining in Brooksville, Blue Hill, Stonington, and Castine, often serving seasonal food that is locally sourced. Experience life in the local community if you are curious about fine local artisans who create pottery, jewelry, paintings, paper, pizza, bread, pastries, coffees, jams, and so much more!
